This whopper cake was really simple to make. I baked a regular vanilla cake and used chocolate icing. I then covered the entire thing with whoppers. It took about exactly two cartons (8.37 oz) to cover the cake. I tried to leave out the deformed ones and had just enough.

My New Bathroom
I'm moving into an apartment with some friends, and since I was never able to have a cute, girly bathroom at home due to having a brother, I wanted to make this bathroom adorable. I started with the shower curtain, and then decided to use all three colors in the curtain (pink, green, and blue) for the color scheme. The bathroom was white and boring, so it needed the bright colors.
I found the idea for scrapbook paper in frames on Pinterest, and thought it would be perfect. So I bought two 8x10 frames, one 5x7, and one 4x6. I then bought scrapbook paper to go with the color scheme, along with some other accessories to dress it up. It took a lot of playing with before I finally got a look that I liked. I wanted the arrangement to be random, and there were a few wall knicks that needed to be covered, so that decided the final layout of the frames.
I also found a cute flower shaped container from the Container Store, and filled it with rolled washcloths to dress up the vanity. A sign from Home Goods for above the toilet, and a lime green rug completed the look. I also found inexpensive towels from Boscovs, which are a brighter green than the rest of the bathroom, but they work for now.
I am extremely happy with the way it turned out. I need a bathmat and a ribbon to hide the nail holding the sign, and then it will be complete. Remember, this is a bathroom that I didn't want to put a lot of money into since this is a temporary living situation. The fixtures are permanent, and paint is not worth it. For a college apartment bathroom, it works.
